Have I got this wrong. The IQ Go 100GB deal is back but not at £20. It’s £75 what kind of inflation is this ?

The answer to your question is yes. A full roaming sim is £75. I have today cancelled my sim and instantly received a refund for the unused part of the annual subscription. Brilliant customer service. Maybe they will offer something else in the future.

UK is so far behind in mobile infrastructure. In UK there is very poor 5g and only in some places it's also slow never better than 65mb and 4g is also very poor in many places. I'm in Thailand and 5g is minimum100mbs sometimes I'm getting 470mbs. Even in the most God forsaken off beat rural areas I'm getting 100mbs all unlimited Bandwidth , calls texts for £23 a month. Shame on UK

It’s not the same as the previous 100gb though, or judging by what Popit are doing which seems very similar, the £75 for 100gb can all be used roaming as there are no restrictions, Popit have dropped the £75 to £59 now anyway so IQ may well follow.

While we are on the subject of Popit you can now purchase “bolt on data” £7 for 3gb or £10 for 10gb these can be added to a standard package say 100gb with 25GB roaming and all “bolt on data” can be used roaming.

Popit have also introduced a £75 100gb "sole roam" SIM.
However, I see today that they have reduced it to £59 per month, customer pressure?
Lots of negative comments and funsters leaving popit may have had some effect.

A lot of that is to do with Government regulations.
The Government 'auction' the radio spectrums that Mobile operators use for Billions, and also restrict which operator can use which channels; this along with other restrictions means that all 4 main operators essentially all have to build their own network rather than being able to collaborate (deemed a risk of price fixing); but all of this all means that you and me have to pay through the nose for it..

There are 3 operators in Thailand AIS, True and DTAC ,used to be 4 but there was a merger ,, There is zero competition they all seem to charge similar prices and each must run its own network but they have invested far more than UK operators ,,,the Thai spectrum auction is based on UK model .. UK operators are taking the piss and damaging UK economy and competetiveness

No they're not, there is a lot of competition for UK mobiles and more 5g coming along all the while. We pay £15 for unlimited text and calls with 30gb data unlimited speed. Probably better deals out there but happy with network and IQ service. The EU data issue is nothing to do with UK but an EU thing I believe.

I have been trying to do that without success, not able to login as I give my email address, they say will send you an authentication code, which does not come.
How did you do it?
