Just had an update from IQ Mobile , the Euro roaming package is back on sale without a fair usage cap , the only problem is the cost at £75 for 100 Gb . So that's a no from me. Also they seem to be suggesting that the £20 fee for the sim card is per annum and not a one off payment .

The £20 fee you refer for the IQ Go SIM was always to be paid annually and it is to cover you keeping the SIM for each year. £75 is a bit steep but I think I will go with it when we are away in Europe because it means we do not need a VPN, which other Funsters have reported that some UK content providers are actively blocking them.

I can see anybody going for it at that price, ridiculous

Does nobody on here check for other recent posts before starting a new thread, effectively duplicating an existing one?
I think that's been said before ..

Active blocking of VPN's has happened since VPN's existed. It's in the providers interest to not be blocked given majority of users use them to bypass content restrictions not just from iplayer. Usually you report it and it's fixed on a reputable vpn (I use express), but you have around 6 places in UK you can send data from on Express to allow you to work around the blocks if they exist without needing support (on the app on the firestick you just select a different UK endpoint, it's about 2 clicks of the remote, hardly a chore).

Remember starlink ALSO needs a VPN, and to be honest even some sims require it (some providers do local egress in Spain for example).
