Well, it’s just taken me over a couple of hours to list a phone on fleaBay and I’m beginning to wonder why I bothered.
I’m selling a brand new iPhone 7plus. List is £569. 20% less is just over £450, which I think is a good target for a new phone. When I sell, I’ll have to pay 10% fleeceBay fees plus whatever payPal wants, netting only £390.

The listing is 273508664649, take a look if you’d like a brand spanking new phone. You could bid for it there or pre-empt the auction within the next five days by buying it direct.

Any questions? Just ask...

If you sell @£450 it’s 10% final value and 3% PP.... and they will take the final value for both,,,so £45 and £13.50...
Even Dick Turpin wore a mask.....
I’d have put it on Gumtree or nosey book first.
Better selling it local for cash ;)

I often get offers from Ebay to sell things for a reduce selling fee of a few pounds and sometimes with no selling fee. I assume everyone gets these offers therefore why not wait until you get same offer.

By chance, there seems to be a "No Selling Fee" offer today.
Do any eBay users know what that means? = No final value fee? - or is there a catch?
So do you think I could "pull" the current listing and re-list, to take advantage?
If I do that (I might upset a few, but) I could save over £30.
I expect PayPal will still take it's cut though...

I have a max £1 selling fee offer and some of the conditions are listed below.

  • Create up to 100 listings on eBay.co.uk in an eligible category
  • Listings must start during the promotional period
  • Listings can be auction-style or fixed price format
  • Pay a maximum of £1 per listing in final value fees if the item sells.
  • The promotion start and end dates are included in the email we send to invited sellers.
  • Item must sell within the first listing period.

Great, thanks for clarifying. I don't think I got an e-mail. I saw it while looking at eBay and, as ever, went around in circles trying to find the details. There's often a "gotcha" (and I don't like being "gotched")!

Well, it reached as much as £470 on fleBay but now the buyer has changed her mind!
It was item # 273517233407 there.
This is a brand new 32gb iphone7plus . The one with twin front lenses, like the new Xs.
If anyone wants it for £350 plus post, let me know before I get round to re-listing again.
(Third time lucky?)
There will be 11 months left of warranty.
It's presentable as a present, but the box and phone serial numbers don't match.
Any questions, just ask. Although I'm out for the rest of today.

Offer it to the buyer who lost. I’ve done that and it works
