I get this sort of problem. Managed to eliminate it by a hard reset of the iPad - hold down the on/off button and home button together for 10 seconds and reboot.

Also check if you've recently downloaded a dodgy app. I found one was causing my iPad to constantly crash. Deleted it, reset as Dux suggests, no problems since.

Try moving the router had this problem when there were too many walls between ipad and router.
Ipad wifi is a bit rubbish, goes with the rest of it.

Occasionally it helps to reset your BT thing as we've found that helps a lot.

As Dux rightly said, often a hard reset of your device will sort it.

If you're getting a poor wifi signal then it's a good idea to buy a booster that simply plugs into a standard 3-pin electrical socket and beams your wifi signal further around your house / garden.

My iPad drops on & off campsite WiFi because it is a very weak signal.
Try moving the router

It could be that your iPad is logging onto the 5ghz band on the router which has a much shorter range than the 2.4ghz.

If you log into the router and rename the 5ghz SSID so you can detect it as a different SSID to the 2.4 ghz, and that should solve the problem.

You could also switch from Automatic on the Router to a specific channel, such as channel 8 which for some reason Apple devices seem to prefer.
