Hi all.
We are spending New Year with a group of like minded [STRIKE]fools[/STRIKE] people at Butley Village Hall in east Suffolk. GPS Coordinates: 52.107460, 1.458760.
They are not funsters, but the family organising it are at the 'more relaxed' end of the spectrum of Suffolk centre CC members. Indeed this has been put together by those that do not want to be over organised.
There will be a first class disco on the night itself, and as a group they are attempting to organise other low key fun activities for all age groups. The hall will be available for use throughout.
The following is as received by us.
There is no official hookup, but will be battery charging facilities, and with a bit of ingenuity and shared cable, we can get a bit a power some of the time to anyone who needs to top up.
Plenty of beautiful Suffolk nearby, as well as a first class well known hostelry, the Butley Oyster. Orford, Snape, Aldeburgh, Tangham forest are all nearby.
Anyone who is interested, please PM us preferably with an email address so we can pass you the contact details off forum.
Jim is aware that we are posting this and positively responded. Thanks Jim. :thumb:
Best wishes ... Hilary, Robin, James and of course, the cats.
Disclaimers: This is neither a Caravan Club rally or a MotorhomeFun meet.

Sorry it's taken us so long to get back to you about New year 2012-2013 at Butley but we've had terrible trouble getting our Disco ( THE GREAT D.J. JOHNNY ) to confirm he's able to do it, due to his work commitments & we didn't want to get any ones hopes up any more than possible. We are now "very" pleased and relieved to confirm Johnny has confirmed with us yesterday and the event is "on" as previously arranged ! YES... YES...
Not one hundred percent sure on costs at this stage as it depends on how many vans, friends and family's we can get to attend (if you have family wanting to come along and join in the fun they'll be made more than welcome but can you please let us know soon as please. We will be charging £10.00 for a family of four for new years eve disco / party.
Please note we plan on all taking a plate of food over the hall on new years eve to make a nice banquet for us all
As we say cannot confirm hall / disco cost till will get exact numbers of any ones family / friends who may also wish to attend but we can tell you definitely it's £5.00 per night pitch fee plus disco / hall costs once known exact numbers. It will not cost any more than the £39.00 they charged last year, hoping lot less so lets get it out there to friends / family's to please ! The event will start on 29th December 2012 & finish noonish Wednesday 2nd January 2013 = 4 nights. People may attend as many or as few nights as they wish because we appreciate people may be working but can you please let us know as soon as possible please. Hope this helps ?
We are really looking forward to it now & can't wait to spend our New Year with you all.
