How long could I safely use a 400Watt remosca on a 200 amp battery bank with 2000 watt inverter fed by a 175 watt solar panel.
I think my safe max draw is 100 amps!

Rough guestimate, the remoska is going to pull between 40 and 45amps per hour. Assuming you have standard lead acid batteries that's around 2 1/2 hours to flat. Solar might extend that by half an hour if it's sunny.

If you have lithium batteries then twice as long 👍

Probably a couple of hours or so, it's hard to be precise as the Ah capacity of the battery doesn't apply under a heavy discharge, in your case around 40 amps. Then factor in the Remorska probably won't be running at full power all the time, there will be a thermostat I suspect.

In summary, I think you won't do any damage to the batteries so just give it a try but have a good battery monitor too if you don't have already. :)

400w delivered by 12v with a bit factored in for invertor inefficiency will be 35amps. If it was on all the time, it'd be 35Ah per hour.

Most ovens are thermostatic, so they consume less power once they've warmed up. But I'm not sure if these do that?

Remoskas have no thermostat. Ours draws close to 40A. We used it a few times for less than an hour when we had 180Ah of LA. Now with 280Ah of lithium and 370w of solar I have no hesitation in using it for longer.

You don't say what type of batteries they are, but the maximum draw for a 200Ah battery bank should be 200/5 = 40A or less. As Guigsy says, the Remoska will pull about 35A, so it is within that limit.

Some battery types are best kept to not lower than 50% discharge, and some types can go down as low as 20%. If you stick to 50% that would mean 100Ah of the 200Ah bank. So that would be good for 100/35 = about 3 hours. And quite a lot longer if it has a thermostat and is cutting in and out all the time.
