A hypothetical question but please forgive me if it's been asked before.
If the engine battery is flat but the leisure battery is good, is it possible to recharge it useing the inverter and a battery charger ?

No need for an inverter just connect the hab battery to the starter battery for a couple of hours and you will get enough charge into it to start the engine.

Would you connect both leisure batteries to the starter batts or just one. I'm thinking about when recharging the leisure one's
Connect both so they remain in balance when it comes to recharging. But you would have to disconnect them to use one only then when you reconnect them the "unused" one will pump out the amps into the discharged one. That doesn't sound ideal.

I am not an expert but using a booster to start my Autotrail Delaware caused damage to the airbag ECU. Could this do the same?

Normally the leisure batteries will be connected in parallel so act as one battery. You just need to take a lead from the positive of one to the positive of the starter battery.

Old van technology but Autocruise had a battery start programmed in to the control panel.
