Love to Lynne enjoy fettling it in your own time.

Looked at your photos and heard myself saying out loud "What a cute van". Love the interior layout. Good luck with it.

Does anybody know of an interior out there now like this one with 2 sofas that you can actually lay out on? And drop down bed?
It’s brilliant

Cheers, and it's really nice to get waves again, Lynne tells me off for waving at vans when we are in the car, or just walking but I can't help it!
See you both soon.
When are you returning home (as in Spain) we will be passing La Marina after Christmas?

We're hoping to fly back in jan/feb, so get in touch when you are in the area.
Lynne will be in the uk til late summer but I will be driving back before then!

Not 'arf. Just staying at our lads spot, well, sleeping in the van on his drive, and nicked a couple of paracetamol. 4 hours driving at a heady speed of about 52mph and what sounded like 17,000rpm. Can't wait to sound proof it a bit.
That is the only problem ,the noise.

Fabulous! Great to see you on the road again. Theres a couple of classic hymer groups on fb if you need any help might be useful.
Where are you based in Spain?
Hi to lyn xx

Hi to lyn xx
Cheers I have joined a couple of groups.
We are in La Marina, between south of Alicante near Guardamar. Not there enough next year, but get in touch if you are passing, some have, and some even come back!

I seen it’s continental cousin down in the Dordogne 6 weeks ago , real cool

Nice to see a lovely old Hymer still going strong. Its from the days when they were well built. And what a great layout.

Nice Talbot Express/ Classic Hymer Combo. A guy on ebay in Stratford-upon-avon fits electric power steering to these for £600 { Modified Vauxhall Corsa Power Steering }.
If it is a bit damp You could fit a powerful Chinese 8KW diesel fuelled 12V air heater { Similar to Webasto / Eberspacher }. 10C to 35C. It will be dry in 5 minutes !
I have fitted a few of these heaters including to My own M'home.
They belt the heat out.
Happy Travels.

Thought about one of the Chinese diesel heaters but one of the things that work in the van is the truma gas fire! I will be replacing the fire with one when it goes though....
