So SWMBO has laid down her latest decree .... "thou shalt change and upgrade the table.." 
We currently have a single circular table behind the passenger seat, the tubular right angle kind. After a bit of time spent fettlin on the van on Saturday its was decided we would have 2 tables (400mm and 600mm) behind each of the front chairs. The 600mm table behind the driver and is large enough to host our evening candlelit 3 courses, and they should be able to swing around to meet and create a larger surface.
No doubt this will be a comedy of errors, so will keep you updated
