I have an intermittent problem with the wipers on my 2008 Fiat Ducato m/h. The wipers occasionally freeze in a vertical position. If I turn the ignition off and on again they come back to life. They also seem to work okay if I just select a single wipe rather than an automatic programme. My usual mechanic says it sounds electrical, possibly an ECU fault though he wasn’t sure that my model’s wipers are controlled by an ECU. Anyone know or have any ideas what the problem may be?
