Can anyone recommend the best insurance company to get a quote from for Motorhome insurance?
Thanks

You'll likely get a dozen different answers with a dozen different insurance companies mentioned.
It's rather subjective, some are better for the over 60s, some require trackers, some will only give you 30 days european travel, some will give a better quote if you live in a certain area, have more than one on the policy, keep your vehicle in a secure compound, have a left hand drive, have more- or less than 4 belted seats, have an A-class with a 6,000 plus wind screen to replace.
The list of options is almost endless.
This year I'm with Comfort because they were the cheapest but have been with several others over the years - because they were the cheapest at the time for my paricular vehicle, location and security level.

I'm afraid insurance is risk based on the individual so what's good for one, may not be any good for another, postcode and driver record are big areas of difference.
It's a case of ringing around or doing the online thing
I use AIB brokers who give a 10% discount to Fun members. I've been with them for 10 years and premium increases were always very modest so never bothered shopping around. This year there was a £70 increase so I got other quotes then haggled with AIB and got it to a level I was happy with.
Just make sure your offered a proper motorhome policy, not a van policy.
Ripe, Comfort and Adrian Flux are others you can try but there are many more brokers

This ^^^ It all depends. We are with Comfort this year. Last year our best offer came from CAMC/AXA. The devil is in the detail - at the time you are looking. The right cover takes a lot of search

Been with Comfort for 15 years now covering 4 motorhomes. Pricing & policy cover have meant we've never needed to shop around. This years premium is £342 + £83 for full Euro breakdown & repatriation, They'll repat any motorhome or RV upto 12m in length & 20000kg. This policy is exclusive to them to be purchased at the time of insuring.
