Insurance renewal!

Hi gang, just had renewal through the post, from£303 to £416 on a ‘09 plate Burstner Nexxo t625 on a Mk7 Transit, kept on driveway with security devices and CCTV. What d’reckon?

Shop around. LV were asking for a (IIRC) £28 increase on mine this time round. I phoned them up and it’s now £11 less than last year!

Yup so am I and mine only went up a tenner! Seems pretty random!

My car insurance went up £150 to £454 with LV. A quick phone call and ended up paying £6 more than last year.

Worth a phone call to them to challenge that uplift, but after first calling Comfort, or LV if a standard van, you then have a bargaining chip.

Car insurance had gone up by £102 so called them they moved a few £ nothing to write home about . Did a search got it £50 more expensive than last year but got back £45 from Quidco

Never used this type of service before It a lot of cash to have the car sat outside the house maybe it time to seriously consider getting rid of one vehicle

My renewal a few weeks ago had gone from £380 to £760 so exactly doubled, no changes, no accidents just an extra years no claims.
Went online and got it for £230.
