Are you finally converting from tugging then?
Seriously one of the issues of higher costs could be that you don't have any no claims Bonus driving a motorhome unless your caravan towing counts in some way. Have you tried Lv.?

Not motor insurance but we have been with Staysure for a good few years with our travel insurance, Now I'm passed the 71yrs they will only insure me for 35 days in one trip. Crazy when at least once a week I receive emails offering me life insurance for the over 70's, with a £150 gift voucher..

We are aged 70 and 72 with significant existing health issues and have had a 90 day trip this year.

Did you get your travel insurance through Staysure, as said my wife is 67 and they will cover her for 69 days but they will only cover me for 35 days this is for a trip to Australia, not going into the USA.
