Dear All
My Adria Twin is arriving anyday apparently- after a two year wait. I’ve got the vrm and tried insuring it today , initially with Caravan Guard.
They offered me new for old , then when I said the new price is approx £80k, they said I can’t keep it on the road outside my house. I don’t have a driveway!
Anyone else had a similar issue? My VW California wasn’t a problem and had a similar value!
Grateful for any thoughts

I have a drive but this year my insurers decided its not a drive and wouldnt renew, even though last year everything was fine.
Went with a different insurer and everything was fine.
As others have said try AIB.

Bizarre - just spoken to AIB and they say as it’s on a road and worth £80k ish for a new one (not what I’m paying) then it has to be on a drive or in storage
Which I do get tbh - just that my ‘road’ is a country road dead end that nothing travels down

I think your problem is the value. Mine is only worth £25k.

In that case, call it your driveway? 🤔

I’m paying 2021 price but the value needs to be what a replacement would cost and they’ve gone up to ridiculous amounts
