Hi Funsters,
Can anyone out there advise me of Any insurance company prepared to insure and provide a green card Motorhome for Morocco for new clients, Saga, NFU, LV are not taking on any "new" clients. Many thanks.

Have you tried a different branch of NFU ?

Do NFU provide stand alone Morocco insurance or as an add on to annual policy?

My renewal came through today, as we’re thinking of Morocco I phoned to ask. Morocco is covered under your policy at no extra charge, however it’s the minimum legal requirement which I assume is 3rd party. They said I just need to call when decided what dates I’m going and they will issue a green card, this can be sent online but I must call them to arrange it.

I'd ask as what "minimum legal requirement" is I'm guessing your expectations of UK 3rd party is probably different to Morocco 3rd party..

It is a pity some people are not insured in Poland. Our fully comprehensive policy here (not cheap at £800, because it is loaded 100% for RHD) but does include fully comp around the Med, with some exceptions like Libya, Syria etc., so Morocco and Balkan countries are included.

And slight decrease on renewal last November, unlike UK by all accounts, so we are running about equal for an A Class with huge w/s.

I think LV is the only one these days.
Often don't take on new clients when they have filled their monthly quote for that section.
Try next month
Thanks for that Lenny.

I meant to add that if a Polish insurer can do it why not a British insurer?

Which company do you use? Is it a Polish registered vehicle?
