Try AIB for vehicle insurance. They cover us for up to 180 days per year.Actually I meant vehicle insurance.
But you have a good point for medical and travel, and Nationwide now want a premium for more than 31 days and another premium for more than 70 years. Probably time to consider alternatives.

I was told 180 days but as we never go for anything like that I never bothered to delve further. With Comfort it’s not defined, so reads as actually unrestricted as long as it is not ‘permenant’
Caravan and motorhome club policy I have states up to 12 months in Europe if we could go for that long it would be nice thoughI was told 180 days but as we never go for anything like that I never bothered to delve further.

3 types of insurance to consider - vehicle, home and travel/health. Quite a minefield in my experience. Vehicle ins (CAMC/Ageas) is reasonable, travel/health (Nationwide FlexPlus) needed a premium, but not bad. However this year I couldn’t find anyone with a sensible price for house insurance for absence over 90 days (last year, same insurer (CAMC/AXA) no problem). Lots of poking around requiredIf you want to stay abroad for more than 90 days do you have to find specialist insurance?
Or can you recommend insurers who provide this?
