For those that like inflatable awnings - you can now have an inflatable windbreak too!
Kampa AIR Break Pro https://www.kampa.co.uk/press-release/breaking-new-ground available in 3 or 5 panel versions.

Looks like Johns Cross will be stocking it so Funster discount should be possible for anyone interested (y)
It's too bulky for us to carry in our little PVC but will look out for it at the upcoming NEC Show as it looks an interesting product & Kampa quality is normally quite good.

Saw something I liked yesterday - an inflatable awning skirt, like a massive sausage....

I’ve always thought that that was the real solution to under-vehicle draughts but have never seen any for sale.

I think I saw them at a camping shop some weeks ago. Horrific price but rather good

Ooher, like the thought of the sausage skirt. Where from please. I rather like the windbreaks we have, have proven very good in wind etc. Although I’d have to say, based on the awning, if I’d not got the others I would defo be looking at these.

Just had a quick search on tinternet, seems Khayam have one, but looks more suited to VW type vans where the sausage goes between front and back wheels. Think maybe the distance in 7.5 mtr van may be significantly more.

Well I cannot see anything new without wanting it. I just ordered the 5 section windbreak from Campingworld. They estimate having them in stock by 31/1.
They were offering a January sale offer with a further 15% off so if anyone fancies one it seems a good deal at RRP of £424.99 but with a discount of 20% = £339.99 for pre order. But if you use the January sale offer using Newyear2019 code you get an additional 15% taking the price to £288.99

Not cheap but good discounts so thank you for posting(y) Please let us know what you think of it once it's had a test run.

I usually like Kampa stuff but not sure about this one, you need a lot of space just to put the ties in to keep it upright. It will also be interesting to see how it works when it’s windy.
The Jormax at half the price seems a better buy to me.

More info. on the Khyam inflatable sausage (£69.99 each on eBay ) :D :
The Khyam Kamper Baffle™ is a unique design on the market. It has been especially designed for Campervans, Motorhomes and conversions to block any draft that may be felt from under the side of the vehicle. Perfect for a short stay as well as a long holiday!

The Kamper Baffle™ is an inflatable tube which simply slides underneath the vehicle, in between the front and rear wheels of the van. Effortlessly inflate and the Kamper Baffle™ fits snuggly into position, keeping your awning cosy and draft free. Another purpose for the Kamper Baffle™ is also ensuring your pets are kept safe and sound, unable to escape from the awning via what would be the gap under the van.

Jormax are the best we found but some like to try something different & these inflatables would be a good talking point on rallies!

We got a couple of windbreaks from Cornish windbreaks at a show. Cheap and cheerful and they actually work. No guys but you do need a big hammer

love this idea, couldn't believe it hadn't been made already and was drawing up a patent application when wombles gave me this solution

excited very muchly

but need three to fill the awning length at £75 each

biggest dilemma is they are 40cm round when inflated, that is just about the exact gap on ours o_O any use of jacks it might be just too big a gap, but possibly going to take a chance and buy them anyway (y) too good not to have if they work

There was someone selling these around 3 years ago at one of the shows, no idea who it was though.

They are £69.99 each here but if you want three suggest calling or messaging them for a discount as would only be one courier charge rather than three for them? Worth a try anyway.

@Wombles thanks but that is shorter and narrower, but would have been very good value (y)

I am considering researching a long option there seem to be various inflatable options available

The Super Sausage has whet your appetites I can see - I thought it was great. I'll try and get a stealth pic of it today and post it later - ze germans may think I am a bit weird tho'!

Right, this is it - have you ever seen one like it? Ooer Mrs!

There doesn't seem to be any name on it and ze Germans must have gone to look for a Sunbed as they weren't there to ask!

It runs all the way from the back of the front wheel to the back of the van. Nice.

Thank you @Simon Richardson - excellent photos! (y) So now we know a big one is possible but without a brand on it then maybe not sold as a motorhome accessory? Hopefully someone will spot this thread (or maybe start an inflatable sausage thread?!) & may know.

The inflatable sausage may be a problem if you have something like E&P hydraulic levelling... on some sites they will raise you quite high, not sure the magic sausage would cope.
