I now own a single 1800w Induction hob and a double 800+800w hob. I have a 2000w inverter and enough Lithium.
So the single hob is ultra fast at high level and the double is slower but still not slow. Do I stick with the single and cook 1 pan after the other or use the double with 2 pans at once? I like the ability to cook fast but still cant decide if i prefer the convenience of the double hob.

Double hob for me, why wait to cook something else when the original is going cold and I know you can half cook one dish etc, but why bother!
Convenience is more important in my opinion.

We have the dual 800W Vango Sizzle induction, it's pretty powerful and (as mentioned above) you can use two pans at once (power requirements permitting) which is a much better solution than putting one pan aside while you heat up another IMO.

I bought a double one for home use and it has one ring 1800 and the other 1000w… I’ll see if I can find the link..

Here it is, I’m pleased with it…

A slight side issue but what we've found really useful are these induction hob "protectors". Made from silicone and naturally stick to the induction hob surface. Stops the pots sliding around on the hob, which can easily happen especially when using in the moho or on a table outside etc. Just cut the discs to size and put onto the hob.

With the protectors in place you can tilt the hob quite far without the pan moving (y)

I could have bought one of these bit only want to stick at 2000w max for my inverter and battery, so no good for me.
