I ordered two of these vents, with the optional 12v electronic fans, to install in my conversion project. However one arrived with a broken fan clip.
The clip is used to hold the optional fan in place. However the vent is absolutely fine as long as you do not want to clip in an optional fan, which is bought as an extra. It is just like any other roof vent now, which has no fan.
The company I purchased them from were very good and sent me a replacement within two days. I expected the delivery driver to collect the one with the broken clip, but he didn't want to take it with him. I emailed the seller who said she didn't want it back.
I could flog it on eBay. But I think I'd rather give it away on here to any member of MotorhomeFun as a way of paying something back and saying thank you to the members who have so kindly helped me out with advice on my many threads.
So the first member to ask for it gets it.
Collect for free in Cheshire or I'll post it to you but will ask for you to reimburse the postage fee via paypal.
Just to be clear I am giving this away for free and as such make no guarantees about the condition. But it should be perfectly fine if you don't want to put in the optional electronic fan. As far as I can see the only thing that is broken is one of the clips that hold the fan. They usually sell for about £60 new (and not with a broken clip).
