 So another one, out at new year and when ignition turned off engine keeps running, stopped after a few times but now doing it again 😬 any ideas please.

Known as Dieseling. Whats the engine.

Could be the fuel cutoff valve, or glowing carbon deposits causing ignition or failing fuel cutoff valve.

When I by-pass the old Fiat immobilisers if you don't fit a manual switch (simplest way) then the old diesel engines will carry on running if you supply it with 12V power. The old immobilisers were just a circuit board between the fuel pump and the 12v supply, hence ignition OFF also turns off the little circuit board and starves the engine of diesel.

I don't know what age of MH you drive but could be a simple loose connection in ignition wiring to the ignition barrel.
