help please i am down at Les Andeleys .i have conncted up my iboost to see if ican find a free wifi. But i am having a mental block.i go into settings on my ipad,then wifi and motorhome wifi and the campsite come up,so i press the former and the log in for the campsite comes up wich i dont know and dont want. If i remember right i used to get to a stage where you had to put in 10.20.30.40 why cant i get to that stage???:( thanks.scotty
 
I think - from memory - connect to the iboost wifi and then open browser and type in 10.20.30.40 which will get you to the motorhomewifi page and then select from the available wifi networks.
 
Thanks but when i connect to mh wifi the campsite login appears
 
Are you able to ignore that and manually type in 10.20.30.40 in the browser bar?

Hmm, just reread your reply - is the campsite login just automatically coming up when you've typed in 10.20.30.40?
 
No tried that i think im going mad i used this alot last yr had no probs,i must be doing something silly????? Cant get to 10.20.30.40 stage for some reason

Ok, got my destructions from the van.

On ipad - settings, wifi - select MotorhomeWifi
Open Browser (safari)
Type in 10.20.30.40 in the browser bar ignoring whatever has loaded

Hmm - that all sounds a bit like what you've been doing and theoretically the motorhomewifi login page should then load up.
 
Di have the p\words but i cant get that far after pressing mhwifi the camp site login page comes up
 
Once the campsite login page comes up have you tried typing 10.20.30.40 in the browser bar?
 
If i try that a page cannot be opened comes up,i used to get1/2way through typing it and it would come up but dont now?

Are you definitely connected to the iboost motorhome wifi signal? The 'page cannot be opened up' message would come up if you weren't. Maybe the iPad has defaulted to the campsite wifi signal which would explain the cannot be opened message.
 
Maybe @Addie could help. I've found him to be helpful previously when abroad and struggling with the iboost.

In that case go to I pad settings , wi fi , and if campsite log in appears , click ignore and then go through motorhome wi fi setup as above.
 
the campsite log in comes up, what more do you want. surely the iboost is working if you have sufficient signal for the log in page, or do you expect it for free? am confused.

Yes, that's right.

Ipad settings, wifi, then select motorhome wifi from the available wifis.

Then open up safari and type in 10.20.30.40 in the browser bar, log in to motorhome wifi and see what wifi networks are available.

If you're on a campsite it may well be that the only one in range is the campsite one.

Cant find a way on ipad to click ignore? The reason i have fon and iboost is the reason i dont want to pay10€ to log into theirs,otherwise i just pay them then log in without iboost??
 
Your computer has to be connected to I Boost before you can do anything and it will probably be looking for the stronger signal ie site wifi so manually change it and yes if you get to the log in page as Munchie says the log in and password is MHW
 
Right I now see it is I Pad go into setting and then wifi I boost must be there if it is switched on even if you have no signal for it so connect to I BOOST and then if you get that far shout again for next step
 
I get camp site and motorhome wificome up not iboost
 
All sorted i dont know how but suddenly igot mhwf page to come up as it used to.found a couple of french fons but could not get a signal below 87 so have given up and gone onto mifi,hence able to post.many thanks for all your time and help.Scotty

Its me again i have moved on now ,just tried iboost again and get a tick come up on mhwfi but before i can do anything SFR login page keeps coming up,if igo to googe or safari on ipad and put in 10.20.30.40 it says cannot open this page because im not connected to internet???????????
 
How do i get to the page of motorhomewifi so that i can type in 10.20.30.40 please i'm desperate!!!
 
You do not! Once iboost is set up and on just type 10.20.30.40 into the address bar and it will come up asking you to log on with MHW AND MHW!

It is not a page of motorhome wifi that you need to get to, it just get's typed into the browser bar.

As we've said before:

Go into settings
Click on wifi
Wait for the wifi options to appear
Click on motorhomewifi (this bit is what connects you to your iboost)
Come out of settings
Open safari
In the Browser bar type 10.20.30.40
This will bring up the login page where you enter MHW and MHW.
This will then log you into the menu for the iboost at which point you can then scan for available networks.
 
S/bird hi again i click on mhwfi and the arrow comes up then it immediately go to sfr login, if i ignore that goto safari type in 10.20.30.40 it says cannot en this page??

I cannot get to log in page to put in mhw and mhw that is my prob i know what you are all saying is right because thats how it normaly works but last night and tonight i cannot get to mororhome wifi log inpage,its doing my nut in. I am having to do these posts from a mifi wich has limited data??thanks for your patience
 
It sounds like you aren't connecting to the iBoost properly but connecting directly to the internet instead which would explain why the 10.20.30.40 isn't working. It isn't a webpage, it's the interface of the iBoost control unit so you can only open that page if you are connected to iBoost. What's the name of the wifi network your device is connected to?
 
On the settings - wifi page is it Motorhome wifi that the little tick is next to or is it connected to something else?

If something else then click on the little i (information) and then on the page that it brings up click forget this network. Then go back to the wifi page and reselect motorhomewifi.
 
S/bird ithink i have found the problem,when iconnectedup then put sucker on the windowthe lights on the back of antenna were strong i twas obviously overpowering mhwfi,because as soon as i took it off the window and layed it on the floor mhwfi log in page appeared. But when i scanned it agian i could only get a signal with a scale of 81 there it was too weak to connect too.watch this space i am down here for another nine days you never know imight get some free wifi yet,haha.
