From a Spanish white wine bottle, a stepped plastic cork, so you can use it as stopper on the rare occasion you haven't finished ithe bottle.

Sorry……I don’t understand…….’haven’t finished the bottle’…….?????? (😉)

A five-litre box is a better size. A ten-litre box is just too big for just me.
Have you not tried the 15 Lt boxes? 🤣

I use the cork from a bottle of port, they fit a red wine bottle well enough for storage for a day or two.

Hi Lenny,

Couldn’t figure out how to DM you: I’m trying to get in contact with you as I’ve bought your van and need a little bit of information about changing the water pump back to original. I just need to know what was done with the wiring 😃

Thanks,
Bob

Well, I’ve used your avatar obviously, but you get the idea!

I have never found a bottle where the original Cork turned upside down doesn't fit. Only for between glasses I wouldn't like anyone think I don't finish the bottle.
While in the van we use 3L white, which fits in the fridge door for swmbo and up to 5L red which I prefer at room temperature. The boxes are lighter and take up less space.

I'm trying to get my head around the idea that the new van has 'set him back' so much financially that he is reduced to buying wine with PLASTIC 'corks'!

At least plastic ones don't disintegrate. I opened a bottle of Corbiere yesterday and the cork fell to bits.
Yeah, those 14 year old bottles don't all contain a vintage gem🤣
