So I had cause to open the roof blind yesterday and something snapped and length of string fell fell from the blind. Unclipping it from the roof was surprisingly easy but what a mess - How much is this gonna cost thought I.

I couldn't even see what had broke - I know I check out the web.

Yay a Youtube video.

'How to repair a Heki Mini Rooflight Interior Frame'

Problem solved - no problem. What started as a disaster on a Sunday afternoon became an easy half hour fix, fit a self tapper and restring the thing, fit it back to the roof - job done

Excellent "How to Do" video. I have just removed the screen / frame from above the fwd bed in my Burstner, two of the tabs had failed and it looked like quite a daunting task to re string and repair it! Thanks to your video I will be able to sort it out first thing in the morning, well done to you for posting the advice?

I had to do the tiolet one only yesterday. There's only the huge one in the lounge left untouched.

I don't understand what the guy is saying in the video, you have 2 pieces of string, don't know what he means about second loop

Amazing thank you so simple👌

At about 3.20 when he talks about the first loop I believe he has taken his string and fastened the middle to the top spring, hence it gives him 2 legs on the right hand side. He then takes the first one and runs it down the side and across. The second “loop” is then the remaining leg of his string. He then repeats for the left hand side.

How do I translate #7 into English? 😂
