asfaik you can go through the tunnel over the bridge and take the south bank of the seine down over the island that used to have the concrete cows and up to A13

When we went through Rouen a few days ago the tunnel was closed! Ongoing tunnel works. It's a nightmare. Check first of course, but if it is still closed best take the motorway route around, it'll be quicker 😉! the route that should go to the tunnel was solid, you have to divert through the centre of town, most of which is 30kph.

There recently was a thread on here from some official department saying there would be no problems taking a larger camper through, I think you'd be ok with a crit 3 car. Mine's a crit 2 van.

yes it looks like C3 is acceptable in and around Rouen .......we don't go until Oct 11th....did the tunnel works look like they may still be in place by then or was it a 'quick fix' job do you know?

This is what is annoying;

Exemptions: Doctor, Fire brigade, Military, Police car, Customs, Snow plough, Public bus and Ambulance

There should be no exemptions in any emissions zone for anything that isn't compliant.

Well, it is major work. I truly don't know if it was just temporarily closed for the weekend, I'm sure it's possible to check, but either way I'll take the detour, when we were here in June there were other big roadworks with a diversion the satnav didn't agree with on a major roundabout at the end of the motorway going north. I will just check to see if I can find out! Actually, we'll be returning on your first day in

I downloaded the Green-Zone app and had a quick look at Rouen. It shows the A150/N1338/N338 as inside the zone although a website I checked on in May showed those roads as 'outside'. The app is quite limited unless you want to fork out for a subscription and only has two stars on the App Store.

Thanks for the reply though from what I've read it seems that a category 3 vehicle is ok to transit through the LEZ...!
