Aha, if I turn my phone to landscape view it shows it but portrait doesn't.
I always use portrait so never noticed before

Must be a lower screen resolution as its this which determines what you will see.

I had one of those back in the day.

The company I worked for was an 'early adopter'. I do remember the old analogue phones (before GSM) used to make your head hot after a long call -- rather worrying!
No lasting side-effects so far, though. Or are there....? Sanity check required, perhaps.
