enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
does anyone partake in this 'hobby' - ive successfully picked all the practice locks and several unused locks at home and found it quite an interesting subject - the picks are a little bit flimsy so i dont want to have go at locks in use until i get a better set of picks/rakes/tensioners.

Can anyone recommend a good set please, not interested in car or vehicle unlocking at the moment?

or if anyone has any old locks lying around for me to practice on ....?

Great, just what we need, another crim on the streets🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁🤣

the criminal area or lock picking as a hobby?? :giggle: :giggle:
I know nothing about any criminal activity by my good friend apart from him organising lots of travellers turning up and behaving riotously at sporting venues, so it must be the lock picking as a hobby. :giggle:

Hi dave im sure i can find you some
thanks, on another note, ive just ordered my airbags, they should be here towards the end of the week, do you have any spare time the week after next at all ......depending on weather, i can get the electrics. compressor etc fitted and run the pipework under the motorhome to the general area before you pop over ....?

Yup, I have been messing around with it for a few years. I love the locking picking lawyer on youtube.

Search on ebay for locksport. You can get bunches of locks pretty cheaply for practicing with.

Gromett beat me to it
As well as excellent instructive vids he has developed a range of lock picking aids you may find useful
Sadly, since I had a stroke, I lost most of the ability due to very poor sensitivity in the fingers
I can still do it with the easier locks but even half decent ones usually defeat me nowadays

I seem to have a gift at lock picking.

I just need one of those little nail files you get with a nail clippers

Don’t ask how I know:giggle:

My middle son has been at it a few years, started with the see through bits of kit etc and now has quite a few advanced bits and locks galore he trades.

Watches, tiaras, rolex watches, diamonds keep appearing !!!!

It's really paying off.

Seriously though anytime we have been stuck hes got the job done.
Strange but fascinating hobby.
I don't have the patience

I think there's a company called "Covert Instruments" run by the "lockpicking lawyer" (he's a youtuber).

A google search should find it - apparently he sells good quality picks.

Yes that is his company

I've got a padlock but I don't think you'd have much luck picking it as it has a magnetic release bar instead of a key! I've had it for over 40 years.
