Little question for those with Hymers .....

I was adding some batteries plus solar into a 2012 Hymer on Friday and noticed that the AC consumer unit was a bit 'bare'.
Now some people with Hymers (well, one certain person ;) ) likes to knock British Vans and their allegedly undersized 12V DC cabling, but one thing I could not fault on my British Autotrail is the 240V AC side - RCD going to 3 Breakers, each of which goes to 2 separate circuits with a very logical and colour-coded breakdown.
On this Hymer, there was an RCD (improvement on the last Hymer I looked at where there was no RCD at all and just a single MCB), and then one single 10A breaker. It just seemed a little paultry to me, and things like isolating the Mains Charger for example would be impossible without having NO AC working in the van. I didn't like this AC setup at all really :(
Using a plug-in electric heater could be tricky due to the 10A limit, as would retro-fitting any Electric Water and Space heater elements where they were not originally specified as could so easily exceed the 10A limit even if you thought you were ok as were on a 16A EHU point.
It looks like new wiring would have to be run from the Consumer unit and a second MCB added to support it. (I had assumed the motorhome would be prewired for this TBH with the plug just ready to be used, similar to when the electric options were specified).

Is this single 10A MCB typical of Hymers or were they wired/pre-wired for multiple circuits on newer ones?

Here's mine (Hymer BMC600) I'm certainly no electrics expert though, Lenny might know the answer though.

That's got 2 more breakers and 1 more RCD than "mine" did!
The lower unit looks like an extended installation to the standard (either original or later edition).

Something else I found interesting ... The MCBs that Hymer use are double-din (34mm wide) which take up a lot of room. The MCBs in a Sargent unit are single-din (17mm wide) so allows a lot more of a compact install (for example, if your MCBs there were single-din, the same installation would have all fitted in the single top consumer unit).
