Phew I was going to rush out and get one at 680 mpg,

Our Hymer Ducatto gets any thing between 30 and 35 mpg depending on long drives or hills its a 4.5mtr panel van

A coachbuild has about 25% more frontal area than a panel van and probably has worse drag co-efficient too. They have to push a fair amount harder at highway speeds, so tend to loose a few mpg.

That Hymer is also 8m long, so probably weighs a fair amount too, which is going to hurt the efficiency on every hill and every time it has to accelerate.

Our B525 on the 2.7L sprinter manages 25mpg. This doesn't seem to vary much but I generally don't rush doing abou 60-65mph on motorways. Figures are based on actual use over last few years. It generally weighs about 3800kg

On a Sprinter using cruise the best I've managed 10.5 lts/100k. Using my foot about 13.5/100. These from the ecu.

3 litre auto Mercedes Sprinter, 2013, 5 tonne loaded, I average 22mpg but I rarely go over 60mph. It can easily drop to 18mpg if you are heavy footed. Hope this helps (y)
