Hi All

Considering this 2007 Hymer Starline, whilst the rest of the van looks in good condition is this really the original ceiling under the bed ?

It looks like it has been replaced with ordinary boards when compared to the wall by the spare wheel ?

We had a Hymer B 614 and the boards under the bed looked exactly like that. 👍
Agreed, it seemed odd at first sight but it was original.

Sold my 2006 Hymer B680 in January and can confirm that ours was the same, just ply.
Brilliant quality van, last for years if looked after properly.

thanks for the confirmation just looked odd as the rest of the wood is wrapped or solid.

We have a 2007 B654, owned from about 2010 which has no plywood. On ours the slats to the underside of the bed can be seen above the garage. I think that the plywood has been added.

ours is a 2001 b680 and only has slats, but the alloy frame was bowed in the middle when we brought is, which I reversed, some heavy gymnastics been going on there  ;)(y) but our garage is a lot smaller than yours
