Hymer Rear View Cammera

I plugged a monitor directly into the rear view camera Fakra connector feed today hoping to maybe have a permanent rear view using the existing camera (didn’t want to bolt another one on) but no output so I presume it needs a reverse trigger, the 4 wire plug to the camera has 12v pair and I presume that the other two are triggers does anyone know if they are triggered via the canbus or if not what the trigger might be

Our 2022 Hymer has a rear vew camera connected to the Hymer badged head unit.

It has two USB connectors which plug into the head unit giving a manually swiitched full rear view and a reverse gear lever selector which gives a parking view. I do not know the technology of the switching only that the video signal comes into the head unit via USB.
