Fellow Funsters,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to sort an issue I am having with the height adjustable rear bed in our HYMER A Class.

We have had some work done recently and the workshop raised the bed to it highest point as they were in the garage. Unfortunately now I am unable to lower it by pressing the rocker switch as shown so I am hoping that someone has a simple fix for me as I can find anything in the manual nor from an internet (and forum) search.

Many thanks,

Paul

I had a similar problem, my bed mysteriously fixed itself, your bed probably has a manual handle which should allow you to wind it down by hand. I suspect the direction relay had become stuck. The switch you are pressing should energise a relay for the bed motor, pressing the other button, reverses the polarity to the motor, by energising a different relay. Our bed is made by LCI (Lippert). It may be that the supply fuse has blown if there was bedding or a pillow left on the bed when raised causing an overload. Some pictures might be helpful for diagnosis.

Many thanks for the reply. I suspect you are correct that when they lifted the bed they didn't take into account the fact that my wife had left about 30kg of items on it!

I have just left the site where the MH is stored so will have a look for the manual wind down if it has one when I go back in a couple of days. I will also check the fuse which I assume will be in the Elektroblock though I have no idea which one it will be!

It is the yellow 20A fuse labelled ‘Hubert’
I suggest you make yourself a list of translations for each of the fuses.

Thank you so much for that. I agree I do need a list of translations👍🏻

So I have been up to our MH, did the continuity test on the ‘Hubert’ fuse and that was the problem, changed it and all it working as it should👍🏻

Out of interest how did you know that was the fuse for the bed. When I put ‘Hubert’ into a German/English translator it came back with ‘Hubert’!

Thanks once again so much for your advice and assistance😀

So following Nedge68 's advice to make a list of the fuses in our Electroblock 400 I have put together this initial draft and wondered if anyone can spread anymore light on the translations as some are not as obvious as others
