Hi, does any one know where you can purchase the sealing strip for a 2014 Hymer Starline B690. It is the strip that goes along the top of the whole motorhome and down the front and back in one piece? We have had a leak and think it is where the strip goes over the top of another piece near the back corner. We were hoping to lift the seal and clean joint etc and then replace but we are concerned that if it stretches or distorts we will need to replace it.

Try Lowdhams Notts- they used to stock Hymers -now don't but have parts left- we got a shower door from them that was a fraction of the price Travelworld quoted.

Brownhills also have a lot of spares from their Hymer days usually listed on eBay

but I would think that strip might be more decor than sealing, just covering up the fixing screws 🤔

Think you might find it's the one piece main seal between the roof and side.
I had one of mine (B544) replace which took three days and not cheap.

From a similar problem with our previous Hymer, the strip is a decorative thing, and the sealant is behind the strip (we had a fault in the sealant underneath the decor strip).

Can‘t really help regarding what the sealing stuff looks like etc as it was all done under warranty, think we were without the van for about 3 weeks...

Thank you. What I was looking for is where to find/buy the strip? I have contacted a couple of Hymer dealers so I am hoping I will have an answer. I haven't been able to find a strip with the same profile. I am sure you know from previous experience it has a protruding bit on the underside which sits in the join the strip is covering.
