Hymer handbrake

We have a 2016 Hymer B878SL 6 wheeler. The performance of the handbrake has been getting worse for some time so attention is required. This model has discs on all 6 wheels and the brakes are really good and the van has only done 24,000 careful mikes, so I'm expecting a cable or linkage problem. My oversized tummy will struggle to get underneath to find the problem so I'm hoping some kind person will give me some ideas as to where the problem may be before I scrawl underneath.

Just a guess, someone else with more knowledge may confirm..

it will be an AL-KO chassis , I think it will have drum brakes for the handbrake. ..which will need adjusting ..

Being an Al-Ko chassis they have to be adjusted in a specific order,

Hi all , I have a 2004 Hymer B654L on an alco chassis, and I can't seem to get the handbrake to work well . I've fitted new shoes and done all the ajustements but still won't hold the van on a fairly mild incline. Any tips would be really appreciated , Simon
