Our 2022 A Class Hymer Exsis has a problem with the nearside dipped beam headlight - it dosn't work.

Is this likely to be a fuse problem or a bulb failure?
And, if a fuse, which one, where?
or something else?

I thought the bulbs were LED. Is that assumption true?

There has been a problem with headlight looms failing causing lighting problems.
I have a 2018 Exsis i588 and my offside indicator failed.
This was caused by the Hymer wiring loom failing.
I purchased replacement upgraded looms from The Lazee Camper.
The only way to test is to disconnect the loom and run a continuity check.
This may be the problem. Hope it points you in the right direction.

There is only one H7 bulb so if it's the bulb or fuse both dip and main be will be out. An electric shutter shade the bulb for the dip beam.
I don't see how just the dip can fail.

With the headlight flash control operated, both headlights come on main beam, regardles of any other setting.

As there is only a single bulb so it's not a bulb or fuse.
Does look like a loom problem not the normal fault when it's a loom (that's indicator and DLR not working).

If the rain ever stops swap the looms over & see if the fault goes with it. Left & right looms are the same.
The connectors are a right pig to get off the ballast units, the insulation breaks down on the loom wires and the copper wire corrodes & breaks.

TheBig1 makes better quality loom at half the price of the Hymer rubbish.

Indicator and DLR OK on botth sides.

That sounds like a plan.

Less encouraging. But thanks for the info.

I had these problems and it was the looms and as Lenny HB says TheBig1 makes really good replacements for us members at cheapest price give him a shout.
when checking the looms look at the very thin wires you will find lots of cuts to the insulation where water gets in and corrodes the cables.šŸ˜Š

Thanks for the mentions guys. Yes I have upraded looms on the shelf ready to ship out. Ā£100 for one Ā£190 a pair and included insured courier shipping

To remove the loom plugs the trick is to push them in as you release the clip, then pull out. If one side is faulty swap it for the one the other side as they are the same looms. If the fault goes away on that side it proves it's the loom and I bet it is. The hymer made ones are utter rubbish made with cheap and undersize wire. I use all new plugs the same as OEM so they just plug and play

Give me a PM if you need some and I will get them shipped out same day where I can
