This was Andy's @Techno original idea and I shamelessly copied it..
I removed the big Hymer table last year and had tried a few other table ideas.. including legs on the original table.. but it was still too big and had to be stored.. it wasn't a great success..
Then we tried a small folding aluminium table.. not great , it got in the way and was too small.. also a trip hazard.
Then I saw Andy's 'boom arm tables' . and the rest as they say is history..
Not a cheap option.. legs cost £95 each.. but IMO worth every penny .. top quality aluminium legs with cast aluminium brackets.. they are rock solid.. no sway, no tilt..
Table tops are bamboo chopping boards from Ikea £4.95 each ( another Andy idea)
Pictures show as side tables.. ideal for a cuppa and a snack and in the 'eat a meal' or as laptop table position.
Very pleased.. they really do work well and I think look great..
