Hymer BMC electric grey water button?

We’ve just bought a Hymer BMC and the handbook talks only about moving a lever in the garage to empty the grey water. We don’t have a lever, only a round yellow cap and a button near the drivers seat. We’ve tried pressing the button with and without the engine on but nothing comes out. Do we need to do something with the yellow thing in the garage?? Grateful for any ideas at all!

Grey waste button on my A Class BMC has to be operated with the engine switched off. The yellow tap is for draining down the fresh water to winterise. What year and model do you own and pictures are always helpful.

Grey switch to left of steering wheel on mine, only works with ignition off, for obvious reason, although there are some dirty persons who are happy to drive along the road emptying theirs, as seen recently on the Norwich ring road. Switch has a red light that comes on.

Hymer do some very detailed quick start videos - appreciate this isn’t your model but worth watching as I guess a lot of the systems are the same. Water drain may be electric on the dash panel below the steering wheel?
