Hymer B698

Hi,
I am thinking of buying a hymer B698 automatic 2013 plate with 48000 miles looking for any advice on what to look for when buying and a review of what you think of the motorhome. I am struggling to get any information on the B698.

Most Hymers are pretty sound, just check the usual, MOT record, chassis corrosion, habitation leaks and all appliances working.
If it has the tear drop headlights, they can be painfully expensive to replace and have a reputation for failing
Find out if it's a comfortmatic automatic, if it is, have a read of the thread on here relating to the possible problems

We’ve got a B690 2013 on a Merc chassis, and it’s been brilliant for us.

The teardrop headlight is a concern, but there is a company that sells the protective material that most of us have covered the lights with now, so we’re all keeping fingers crossed!
