The wipers work fine on intermittent and normal speed when I switch to the fast speed it remains at the normal speed? I cannot see anything wrong with the 3 pin connector block and there is no sign of water ingress so what’s the best way forward and could it be the Motor at fault?
Many thanks in anticipation Roger (Southampton)

If the motor works on other speeds just not high it suggests the motor is fine. The switch would be where I would look. Its as if its not connecting on the last position.

Thanks for your response Bubba. It is a Fiat 2.8JTD LHD Auto. I think you are probably right about the switch being at fault and I will check it out once I have a couple of hours respite from the current extremely wet conditions!
I thought I would put a test lamp from earth to each of the three wires from the indicator Stalk with the the ignition on to test the three positions. Does that sound right?

I think I'd be inclined to do a search on YouTube and see if there's an explanation of how the wiper motor is made to work on the different selected options on the stalk.
Might be useful ?

Yes you could test power coming off of each pin. It's a start and follow it from there.
We aim for more wet stuff tomorrow so you may not be doing it then.
Went over the Swanwick bridge earlier and every river leading into the Hamble was at the top.

That’s a good idea Figaro not that I’ve ever used YouTube so I’ll ask my Grand Children how to use it😟
Agree Bubba, weather forecast for Chandlers Ford tomorrow is not good so may have to leave it for a couple of days.
Having not had any problems with the camper for a long time I should have known that getting ready to sell it would cause a problem to raise its ugly head!!

I think you will find it is the steering wheel mounted switch.Paul Badknee posted of having to dismantle & repair his on at least two occasions.
Yes Richard I did and it was a bugger to do. My problem was actually the side/headlights by the wipers were in there too.
First I would test if there’s leccy at the motor and if there is I would suggest it’s the control cassette.
So, steering wheel off, control cassette off and on a table to strip down. Take plenty of pictures as it’s a bit complicated in there the first time you go in. I had to do it twice as I missed a contact and didn’t clean it. It’s just much on the copper contacts.

Good luck if it’s not the motor 👍

There are often really useful videos on youtube showing how to do all sorts of stuff
Once you're in, you're hooked, you'll never be off it (y)

I’ve given up on trying to sort the wipers out myself so can anyone please recommend where I can take the camper in the South Hampshire area to get them fixed?

I’ve still not sorted the wipers not working on fast speed and I'm now due an MOT so does that mean it would fail?

Won't fail an MOT as they work.
As its a Hymer there will probably be a Schaudt relay box under the bonnet controlling the switching to the whipper motor it's quite common for these to fail.
