Just the red light which indicates when the cassette is full. My flush button is separate from the toilet, it is in the cabinet beside the toilet. I was wondering if it could be an air lock but it is difficult to get access to view the pipework. What lights do you have on the control?
I have a slight dribble, I will give it a go with a pipe cleaner, any what the nozzle size is?It could be calcium deposits blocking the flush nozzle, try running a pipe cleaner soaked in vinegar through it, that worked on mine.
I think mine operates solely from the pump in the tank as I can here it whirring when I press the button, the taps are fine, which make me think that the pump is working as it should. In a 2006 B584 that l once owned there was a separate pump under the toilet. I had to dismantle the toilet to replace the pump.
I think I used a 3mm pipe cleaner first then a 6mm one. I bought a few different sizes on a key ring from ebay and used a little one first and then a bigger one.any what the nozzle size is?
No, it barely makes it around the rim. Why would it be better when you have the hot water on? Surely the water is drawn from the main tank?If I've had the hot water on I get more pressure out of it. Other times it sometimes reduces to a dribble but usually enough to flush.
Does the water not even have enough pressure to go round the bowl?
Yeah I'm sure it is but it definitely makes a difference. I guess some heat must be getting to the pipes and building a bit of pressure. No, it barely makes it around the rim. Why would it be better when you have the hot water on? Surely the water is drawn from the main tank?
Don't leave citric acid in the boiler it will eat it, OK for an hour while descaling it then flush throughly.Just a quick update on the issue. It was indeed the solenoid valve, there is a filter on the valve that was completely blocked with limescale & gunk. Rinsed out with some citric acid solution and it is flushing like niagara falls
l have done the tanks and flushed the system with citric acid at the same time for good measure. l have took it for a slosh round and thinking of leaving it in overnight? I assume this will not cause any damage to the boiler?
Re Descaling, this is the advice I received from Trumal have done the tanks and flushed the system with citric acid at the same time for good measure. l have took it for a slosh round and thinking of leaving it in overnight? I assume this will not cause any damage to the boiler?
I always use white wine vinigar as that is what Truma used to recommend in their instructions until they brought out their own descale.Re Descaling, this is the advice I received from Truma
Dear Mr Allan
The solution we recommend for descaling is 2 litres of white wine vinegar diluted into 10/12 litres of fresh water, introduce via the water system and then leave to work for about 4 to 5 hours and then flush through. We would not recommend using citric acid in the heater.
