Hymer A Class Wiper Blades

One of my wiper blades failed yesterday in the pouring rain on the M62. Being a resourceful chap I fixed it on the hard shoulder with a bread bag tie!

Does anyone know if the wipers are a standard blade I can pick up in Halfords ?

They are 70cm long.

They are a standard universal hook fitting I replaced mine with Aeroblades much better.

Ours are 21 inches. We normally buy Bosch ones.

I don't knowwhere you can buy it, even if you can.

The guy who services my vehicles had a drum of wiper blade rubber.

To replace a faulty wiper he measures the length, cuts a new lenght of rubber, slided out the old worn piece and slides in a new length.

It seem that no matter the design of the wiper arm, the piece of rubber is a standard design.

And usually it is only the rubber has been damaged or worn out.

All sorted - Euro Car Parts in Beverley £14.48 for a pair of Bosch 28" blades. Seemed remarkably cheap to me!

Bought ours for Hymer on Amazon. Just measure the two blades and check the fixings.
