Nothing wrong with LHD, I wouldn't go back to RHD.

Yeh we are conflicted now buying our next van as LDH is fab for Europe but the kids would be easier with RDH borrowing it in this country.

We have the 2004 654 only two seat belts ideally need 3 But always driven rhd

You don't know what you are missing, I'm another one that would never go back to RHD. Driving don't really notice it in this country but abroad it is so much easier and you get a drivers door.
The biggest plus for us is that it is so much easier when changing vans as you can sell or trade in any country, a double win on that front, higher discounts on new vans and far higher trade in prices abroad.

I agree.
My reasoning is I can be left hand in my own country as I am already in my comfort zone.
Abroad i need all the help I can get especially on crazy polish and Italian roads!
I adapted very easily and actually like it on our country as I feel it protects near side cyclists better as you get a better view of them.

We wouldn't go back to RHD, either. LHD is so much easier when driving on country lanes in this country. You can judge your road placement so much better and (hopefully ) avoid brushing against trees.
We find it very useful when driving in Shropshire @Ambilkate x:-).

Love this van. Would be very interested. Ready to purchase. Presently have a 1993 Hymer b544 but want to upgrade to this model. Will try and PM you.

This is the van we have been looking for and we are ready to buy. I'm not sure how to PM you but I have wrote posts on your profile. Please contact us or let us know how we can contact you. Thanks Jacki.

I think we exchanged emails in the end. I'll let you know when it's ready to view.

Viewings between 9-21 Jan as there are two final late delivered parts being fitted 22nd, hopefully exchange 23rd.

Hi we are back to re-advertising it as the potential buyers from here didn't follow through. (Although no one has seen it yet)
Further to what I wrote already, we are having it professionally cleaned next week and replacing the Thetford toilet.
Please pm me if you'd like to set up a viewing.

Ahh that's a shame they didn't follow through. Such a lovely Van xxx good luck with your sale

Thanks. It was all genuine reasons and nothing too doing with the van per serving so I am certainly hopeful. Putting it on motorhome madness forum now too and Hymer owners.
Cheers x

Did you decide on the price being the one in the post then or is that a starting price to bid from? just wondered as there was some confusion before!

Have you put it on motorhome fun on face book page?

I was not clear enough about £29,999 being an auction starting price and £32,000 being the 'buy now' price but hopefully i have edited it clearly now. I am.not very good at this!

The Hymer is finally ready and gleaming on our drive ready for her next lucky owner - having been deep cleaned inside and out and all the minor points on the habitation and mechanical checks attended to.
All that's needed is a new set of blinds to be fitted next week due to garage ordering wrong size.
But the van is now ready to be viewed if anyone fancies it and most likely ready to be handed over by the end of next week.

Photos to be posted later today.
