Hymer 1999

Does anyone know what make the axle's are on a Hymer 1999 B694 tag axle...Either repairing them or where to get replacements..Thanks

I used to have a 694, the rear axles are Alco torsion - you need to jack the 'van up so that the wheels hang when greasing.

If the internal torsion bars fail (and your back end sags or crashes or sometimes lists to one side) they are rebuildable but seem to be built to order and your axle tube is needed for the work. £3,450 back in 2017 on my old coachbuilt (previous owner had it done).
Annual greasing with wheels hanging down is strongly recommended.
