I have an unlocked mifi and last weekend I bought a 3 sim card, one of those small ones with an adapter.
Worked ok, tried it Sunday night, no network (well at one location) tried it at home, it woked and then drops no network.
I now see on the display Y antenna, wifi, envelope(mail)1 , battery,,

Mobile partner cant connect.device not found!!!

I can see it from my pv wirless.


Changed cable, no difference...

Thoughts?

NOt when I bought it, inserted the sim, switch on, working..

I suspect ot could be the sim...

the rest u leave blank ie password user name

sometimes u get a limited access without the apn
try your settings and apply the apn worth a try

Have you contacted Three, they should be able to sort it if it is all above board.

If you have unlimited internet access and tethering on your mobile, as I do, surely it's easier / cheaper to use that than fart about with another toy?
I get good reception in most places.

I have got one of thiose Shiftzz but I havent tried it out yet.

I might give it a go tonight and report back.

What normally happens is it installs the software from the dongle which then updates itself and the signal strength is greatly improved.[/COLO:thumb:R]

Dave has the micro sim slipped in the card adaptor...meaning is it touching the contacts

Is the mifi showing it has a signal..green or red.....also does it say no sim

I have one of these on 3. I bought an unlocking kit and despite repeated phone calls never got it to work so I just leave it on 3. It works great, never a problem and much faster than thetherin to a phone

Sometimes it logs on and then there is nothing, I may go next week back to a 3 shop...

I have one of these on 3. I just leave it on 3. It works great, never a problem and much faster than thetherin to a phone

Certainly faster than my iphone for tethering. It also picks up a signal when my 3 iphone is struggling.

I get better reception on MiFi than I do on tethering my phone, both on 3 so I have compared like for like and MiFi IMO is better at receiving signal.

why are you trying to connect using mobile partner? The whole point about the mifi is that you connect to it using your pc/tablet wifi connection.
