How to set up Lebara sim on HUAWEI mifi

Ok I give in, spent about 3 hrs trying to do this, no useful help from Lebara or HUAWEI.

This mifi was originally locked to O2 but now unlocked. It can use Giffgaff and Smarty no problem one of which runs off the o2 network and the other three network.

When I put the Lebara sim in it brings up the o2 mifi home page, it won’t connect. You can see it recognises the Vodaphone network

Any help appreciated. Thx

The APN looks wrong.
In my findings, it’ll be wap.vodafone.co.uk or from Lebara support’s info uk.lebara.mobi
In the UK I use the former. Abroad I’ve had to use the “proper” APN address.

Yes if you can try yours that would be great. I will have no hair left shortly. Off to try your suggestions.

The power of fun strikes again. Never mind Hua wei I'm chanting Wee hee Cant thank you enough kevenh . Although the APN settings were on automatically input, I made a new profile with the APN of uk.lebara.mobi, thought it didn't work although it actually said connected. About 2 mins later a web page popped up. Hope this info might help someone else. Ive truly spent around 4 hrs trying to work this out.

you have to manually change vpn. first time I've ever had to do this. I think details are on the Sim packaging.

I put a lebara sim in my ex orange whoarewe pressed a few buttons to get into turn on and it worked,
Ps used it on 3 previously.

Well I didn’t. I bought a Huawei mi fi off just smiffy on classified section. I’ve never been able to use it since.
I just bought a Lebara sim and the phone and texts are working but not the data (12 gig per month). Not his fault, im useless at this sort of thing. I need to talk to a grandchild, doh !
