Advice needed, just booked Brittany ferries for Easter going to Caen and back for six days. Always used CAMC.

Started looking for sites, (I have the Camping Car Park card/app) but I'm unsure about ACSI.

I've found a site we would like to visit but I don't know how to book?

Camping de la Noë in Argentan. Do I join first and then I can book?

ACSI is (at least) 2 distinct things
  • they publish a guide to campsites in Europe
  • they also have a smaller distinct scheme called Camping Card ACSI, which features sites that offer a discount rate out of main season, which is what most people refer to as ACSI. But so far as I can see C de la Noe in Argentan is not a member of the discount scheme, so there’s no need to book it via ACSI , their website suggests you can book online direct.

Within the Camping Card ACSI scheme advance booking has only been possible in the fairly recent past, until then the rate was only available on the day.

Hi Gary, welcome.

you dont need to join acsi to book a site , you can book direct. most have an english version of their websites.

Easter, Northern France, away from Coast, no need to book anything (I wouldnt be concerned at all)

  • to book it via ACSI , their website suggests you can book online direct.
I can't see this on their site, although I'm not too worried now, I'm sure I'll just find somewhere.

Sorry, my mistake - when I googled it the top link was to TripAdvisor, which had a “check availability” option.

Should I book or just find aires or municipals. Easter should be quiet but it may be cold.

If I was going for only 6 days I would want to have a clear destination even If I choose not to book, with a backup plan just in case.

Good advice, I've emailed them although it states opening April. At least I'll have somewhere to aim for.

If you are already a member of the CAMC, then they have discounts on overseas sites so worth a look.
