When streaming in a motorhome using a Firestick 4k, how do you confuse it to make it work in Europe? Be gentle, nothing to technical please.
Thanks Phil

This is free for 6hrs (but you can re-do after 6hrs) and you can then set your country to wherever you like

Are you using a non UK sim to provide its data?
If not then you don’t need to do anything for the fire stick to work in Europe.

We are using an ID U.K. sim. Fed through a mi fi unit and an Huawei dongle
Phil
Will be OK without a VPN Phil. We use a UK Virgin sim in our Huawei Mifi and watch all BBC OK on the TV and live Sky Sports on my tablet. Using local WiFi? yes a VPN would be needed in that case. Nord VPN the best in my opinion.

If you stream at 4K it will use massive amounts of data. On a small TV use either 720 or even better 480. You won't see a difference in picture quality but it will save a load of data.

The fire stick has a hidden menu. Press the rewind button and the up button for 5 seconds and it will scroll through the resolutions. It will show 480p even though you cannot get it in the normal menu.

It worked just fine. So good I’ve bought another one off marketplace for a tenner to leave in the van permanently.

Think u need to try installing a VPN on the firestick as everyone has been saying. I use Nord the guy on the vid uses express(free trial) just find one on the Amazon app store.
If that don't work come back to the collective.

I also use Nord. Anyone interested check out their regular offers and also going through Topcashback, you should finish up paying a fraction the headline rate.

No beans, I just bought an ID sim, 100 G £12 a month, and it worked in the Huawei 5577c dongle I bought off Smiffy ? I did fit it to a mifi unit in the van.
Im no expert in these matters.

Just subscribed to them. How do you set up a Firestick ?
You have to sideload the Windscribe App for the Firestick Ian.
Rather than me trying to remember how to do it, you can watch tutorials on YouTube. (y)
That's what I resorted to.

Good luck.

Jock. :)
