How often do you top your alde heating expansion tank?

Just noticed no sign of any fluid in the alde expansion tank, so put some in, an I can now see some in , but need to buy some more as I haven't got quite enough to get to the optimum fill line. The tank is difficult to get to, in a cupboard behind a load of wires etc. I topped it up last year, so just wondering if this is normal, or do you think I have got a weeping leak somewhere?

It does lose a little periodically due to evaporation, ie, there is a vent pipe at the top of our reservoir. Proving you are on or slightly above the minimum marker when cold, it'll be fine as expansion when hot takes the level to almost maximum.

I carry a litre bottle of the Triple QX G13 concentrate, though you can buy it pre mixed.
