How much battery power does an air fryer use

Can I ask how you got 306Ah from your 280Ah battery?
We fitted the same 280ah battery a few months ago, the BMS reports 299ah when charged. I guess either the battery is over specified relative to the sales/marketing info or the BMS is still sorting itself out or not quite accurate - take your pick…

Had an upgrade by Offgrid Power Solutions last year:
Swapped 80Ah lead acid for 280Ah Lithium
Upped solar from 100w to 275w
Had 1200w inverter fitted
Had B2B fitted

Now checking out some of our ‘gadgets’ to see what they use, so for anyone that wants to know:

900w air fryer
200 degrees for 10 minutes
Used 10Ah of battery 👍

i.e. Battery fully charged was reading 306Ah and after the above test it was reading 286Ah.
So as a rough guide, the air fryer uses 1Ah per minute at 200 degrees.

Hope this is helpful.
We have a 900 w fryer , 150 ah battery ,170 w solar , use it mainly at lunchtime ,battery recharged by solar in couple of hours , leaving sufficient for telly in evening ,bugger all this maths haha!

That's good, all the time there is sunshine. When there isn't, the battery will not charge sufficiently and you will enter 'battery anxiety' a common ailment for motorhomers...... 😀

It arrived earlier, still to unbox.

We have lots of Ninja devices in the house that we use constantly, although they are higher power hence the lower power smaller unit for the MH.

This looks good for use in the MH being lower wattage and will make life simpler and able to run off the leisure batteries, and soon to have lithium.

At the price point and interest free over 3 months it's a no brainer. The interest free is helpful if like us are mortgage free as it maintains a credit rating.

It’s definitely a good buy. We’re on a learning curve here - don’t know a Ninja from a Turtle😉. Be interested to know what you think of it. Maybe worth a punt at £50 tho. 👍

Which one have you got Lenny?

Our airfryer draws just shy of 85A when its on it heating cycle and about 5ish in between. We have a Roamer 230AH Lifepo4 battery.
Having only 100w of solar we doubled up on the dcdc chargers (2 x Victron Orion XS) as we tend to move on every 2-3 days.

Bought this in Spain: Mellerware Crunchy 1000w 3.5l
It has worked very well so far, low wattage but will take longer to heat up I'd imagine than a higher-wattage air fryer. Ideal for me as my inverter is 1500w. Not sure if you can get them in the UK if anyone was interested.

All this is very informative. We have not tested our 12/2000/80 Victron inverter/charger yet. Got 210ah from 2 x lithiums and 185 solar up top and B to B.
Just bought a quest 1500w multi function cooker (£22) to go with the Quest 800w toaster and 800w kettle SO will be VERY interested to see how things go 🤞.
Might have a dry run before we go. 🥴
Mitch.
