£50 Feckin quid for a fuel filter!!!!!!! Only available from Peugeot or Citroen😡
REDUCED TO £50 after I complained!!!!!!!

Remember when SAAB were still building cars. Brought a brand new 95 estate and they wanted £75 for an oil filter. It was a GM engine, 2.2TDi same as Vauxhall, so popped into a parts counter in local Vauxhall dealership and £12.99.

When I removed the old filter, the part number on the top matched the GM one I had just brought. Felt good saving £50+ squiddlies, robbing buggers.

Sadly even with the Peugeot part number I can only find one on flea bay and it’s in Spain so still £50 when it gets here!!!
The auto factors couldn’t even find it on their system after I took the old filter with part number to them! 😐

Just searched Goggle with part number and loads come up some under £10.00 and some over £50.

Unfortunately so have I and they are not the right fitment if you look at the photo in my first post you will see the difference!👍😁

was works engineer for subsidiary of Lucas a few decades back , the same bulb from Poland was put in Lucas , wipac, Brown brothers , Hella , KX and a couple more packages , retailed at a wide range of price points In the end company was sold to Ring . Much the same with filters , belts , wipers A lot of the catalogues had big cross ref sections at back .
