How full is the Algarve?

No conclusions here, but interesting. I had cause to drive this morning from Caerveiro to Albufeira (about 15 miles). Because I was very bored I counted moving motorhomes at got up to 34! This was at 11am.

Oddly, coming back at 2pm I saw absolutely none

Not sure if this is even interesting?

Maybe they had all heard I was visiting the Faro airport carpark for a night or two and were leaving before I arrived...

Camping Albufeira was almost full last but apparantly has emptied out a bit according to some friends who are there.

Still in Portugal fo another three weeks. In the Algarve area We found that most of better sites were full and a few not so good sites only have a few places. We are now on the west coast (Atlantic) , we wish we had come here sooner. It is not so commercial and there are lovely beach’s very much like Cornwall. We have stayed
in many places off grid but there loads of signs stating NO caravans/motorhomers . We have not been moved on any where , but we are very careful where park up.

We are still on the aire in Tavira. There is a turnover of around 10 MHs most days but you have got to be here early to get a spot.

Weather has improved as well!
